Energy Certificates                  
 An 'Energy Performance Certificate' (EPC) assesses and measures the efficiency of a building in terms of the energy used per square metre of floor space to reasonably heat, light, cool and provide hot water throughout the year. The more energy consumed, the greater the carbon emissions into our environment. Information is collected by a licensed Assessor during a site visit and the eventual certificate lodged and recorded on a government registry with a copy to the owner.

The government is committed to reducing carbon emmissions and In most, but not all cases an EPC is now required by law before a HOME or COMMERCIAL property can be rented out or advertised for sale.
