Building Defects Reports

A 'Building Defects Report' provides the client with a detailed analysis of property defects and faults often but not always for the purposes of supporting a formal complaint against a contractor after completion of percieved poor or defective work.

Information provided should assist the client in clearly understanding the nature of any defects where construction standards and requirements have not been met and where support from a qualified Surveyor may be required for possible 'dispute reolution' through formal mediation.

NHA Surveyors are also experienced in providing 'CPR' Court Reports under the 'Civil Procedures Rues 1998' where mediation has perhaps broken down and matters need to be finally resolved through legal process often involving the Surveyor appearing in court as a supporting Expert Witness.
